Setting Password

Note: Adding a new password disables the Undo function.
  1. On the Create menu, click on Set Password.
  2. Set password for PDF

  3. Input a master/user password in the appropriate textboxes.
  4. Select the level of encryption.
  5. Choose the permissions you wish to disallow from the standard and the advanced permissions set.
    Note: The advanced permissions are enabled only for a 128-bit level of encryption.
  6. Click OK.

  8. You will receive a notification that the password was successfully set.

Removing Password

Note: A Remove Password option is enabled only for password-protected documents. A password removal will disable the Undo function.
  1. On the Create menu, click Remove Password.
  2. Remove password from PDF

  3. Type master/user password in the appropriate textboxes.
  4. Click OK.
  5. Removing password from PDF

  6. You will receive a notification that the password was successfully removed.
