How to Convert Text to PDF

If you work with source code or raw textual data, you might often need to get that content into a format that is more reliable than a simple text file that can be easily modified and manipulated by anyone. One of the best solutions for this is to use the PDF format.
Because PDF technology offers an ideal format for securing and presenting textual data, professional individuals present their final

text in PDF files when they are ready to be published, circulated, or viewed by others.

Whether you are using NotePad, WordPad or any other text editing software, if you have Acrobat 9 Pro installed you can convert from text to PDF. No other text to PDF file converter is needed.

To convert Text files to PDF:

  • (Using Notepad as an example)
  • step 1Open the plain text document that you wish to convert.
  • step 2Click on Print from the File menu or Ctrl + P.
  • step 3Select Adobe PDF as your printing device. If you need to adjust some settings to prepare for your new file, choose the Preferences tab on the right.
