Deleting Pages

1. On the Manage tab, in the Manage Document group, click the Delete Pages button ID_TOOLS_DELETEPAGES .

2. Select desired page range.

3. Click Ok.

Inserting Pages

1. On the Manage tab, in the Manage Document group, click the Insert Pages button ID_TOOLS_INSERTBLANKPAGES .

2. Select the location in your PDF document where to insert the pages and their type. Page type can be either a blank page, or a page from another PDF Document. If you select to input pages from another document input that document’s path in the appropriate textbox, or click the browse button beside the textbox and select the document from the dialog box.

3. Click Ok.

Resizing Pages

1. On the Manage tab, in the Manage Document group, click the Resize PDF Pages button ID_TOOLS_RESIZEPAGES .

2. In the Resize PDF Pages dialog chose:

Page size - one of the standard page sizes, or a custom size.

Scaling – proportional, stretched, or none.

Range of the pages to be inserted.

3. Click Ok.

Rotating Pages

Page rotation can be temporary or permanent.

To rotate pages temporarily:

1. On the View tab, in the View group, click the Rotate Clockwise ID_ROTATEVIEW_CLOCKWISE or the Rotate Counterclockwise ID_ROTATEVIEW_COUNTERCLOCKWISE button.

To rotate pages permanently:

1. On the Manage tab, in the Manage Document group, click the Rotate PDF Pages button ID_TOOLS_ROTATEPAGES .

2. Choose a direction, and a page range.

3. Click Ok.

Overlapping Pages

1. On the Manage tab, in the Manage Document group, click the Overlap PDF Pages button ID_TOOLS_OVERLAPPAGES .

2. Select a PDF Document from which a page will be used for overlapping, and the number of the page.

3. Select either overlay or underlay placement and the opacity.

4. Select a page range.

5. Click Ok.

Cropping Pages

The Crop Page command allows the user to resize the pages by cropping page margins.

1. On the Manage tab, in the Manage Document group, click the Crop PDF Pages button ID_TOOLS_CROPPAGES .

2. Specify the dimensions of the margins to be cropped.

3. Select a page range.

4. Click Ok.

Adding Headers and Footers

1. On the Manage tab, in the Manage Document group, click the Header and Footer button ID_TOOLS_HEADERANDFOOTER .

2. Insert desired text in the appropriate textboxes. Specify desired alignment, font, font size, and font color.

3. Choose margins sizes.

4. Select a page range.

5. Click Ok.

Adding text

1. On the Manage tab, in the Manage Document group, click the Stamp Text button ID_TOOLS_STAMPTEXT .

2. Type your text in the textbox.

3. Make your selection among the text options provided. You can rotate text for a desired angle, select overlay, or underlay placement, and choose opacity. If you check the Border option, every written character will have a black border. You can select border thickness from the Line Width box.

4. Select font name, size and color.

5. Select the text position.

6. Select a page range.

7. Click Ok.

Stamping Images

1. On the Manage tab, in the Manage Document group, click the Stamp Image button ID_TOOLS_STAMPIMAGE .

2. Choose image to be inserted, either by inserting the image path in the textbox, or by clicking on the browse button.

3. Select the image options desired. Images can be rotated for a given angle, placed overlay, or underlay, and with a given percentage of opacity. Image size can be modified also.

4. Select the image position.

5. Select a page range.

6. Click Ok.

Adding Bookmarks

Note:  To view bookmark tree on the View tab, in the View group, click the Bookmarks checkbox.

PDF Converter Elite allows you to create 3 kinds of bookmarks:

Go to page bookmark- a link to another page in this document.

World Wide Web bookmark – a link to a web page.

Open File bookmark – when triggered opens another file

1. On the Manage tab, in the Manage Document group, click the Add Bookmark button ID_TOOLS_ADDBOOKMARKS .

2. Click the New Bookmark button.

3. In the Label textbox insert the desired name.

4. Choose a type of the bookmark. Depending on the type chosen, you have to input additional data: a page number for a Go to page bookmark, the URL of a web page, for a World Wide Web bookmark, or a file path for an Open File bookmark.

5. Click on the Save Item button. After that your new bookmark will appear in the Bookmark List. You can click on the New Bookmark button again to add another bookmark, or you can modify a bookmark already created by selecting it in the Bookmark List and clicking the Edit button. You can also remove a bookmark by selecting it and clicking the Remove button, or remove all new bookmarks by clicking the Remove All button.

6. To save changes click the Apply button.

Note:  After clicking the Apply button, you cannot make any additional changes on the new bookmarks.

Attaching Files

Note:  To view files attached to a document on the View tab, in the View group, click the Attachments checkbox.

1. On the Manage tab, in the Manage Files group, click the Attach File button ID_TOOLS_ATTACHDOCUMENT .

2. Choose a file to be attached.

Merging Documents

Note:  You can only merge PDF files currently opened in PDF Converter Elite.

1. On the Manage tab, in the Manage Files group, click the Merge PDF button ID_TOOLS_MERGEFILES .

2. From the Opened Files list select files to be merged, either by double-clicking on the files, or by selecting them and clicking the Add button.

Note:  You can add the same file multiple times.

3. Optionally you can type in the textbox a file name for the new file.

4. Click Ok.

Extracting Pages

1. On the Manage tab, in the Manage Files group, click the Extract PDF button ID_TOOLS_EXTRACTPAGES .

2. Choose the range of the pages to be extracted.

3. You can choose whether to delete the extracted pages from the original file, by clicking the appropriate checkbox.

4. By default all the pages selected will be extracted in a single file. If you check the Split output to several files checkbox the pages will be extracted in several files. You will have to specify a folder in which to save the extracted files, and a prefix common for all names of the files that will be created, and how many pages will have each of the files.

5. Click Ok.
