Protecting your PDF file
When you are converting Txt to PDF, you can also lock your document. To password-protect a PDF file, you can click on the Options button before you click on OK. So the process is the same as explained above, open Text file, go to Print and from the list of printers choose PDF Converter Elite Printer.
When the print dispatcher is opened, you can browse the location where the file will be saved and click on Options.
Click on Security tab and tick the box “Secure PDF”. In the User and Owner fields type different passwords. Check or uncheck the permissions you want to give to other users and click OK. There you go. The text file that you have converted to PDF is now secured. You will need to enter the password to open it.
